I'm Daylle Deanna Schwartz, writer, speaker, self-empowerment counselor and music industry consultant. I was a bored people pleaser and schoolteacher when my students said a white woman couldnt rap and dared me to try. I learned and became the first white female rapper! I then became the first woman to start a distributed record label on my own but wasnt taken seriously in the male dominated music industry until I discovered techniques that allowed me to remain a nice person and earn respect too. I carried them into all areas of her life and became what I call a Nice Girl on Top.

I'm considered a pioneer for women in the music industry, Writing Nice Girls Can Finish First (McGraw-Hill) and the third edition of my bestselling Start & Run Your Own Record Label motivated me to make this video of my first rap record, Girls Can Do. I've lived the lessons in both books. I'm the author of 10 books, including I Dont Need a Record Deal and All Men Are Jerks Until Proven Otherwise, been quoted in dozens of publications, including The New York Times, and been on 300+ TV/ radio shows, including Oprah, Howard Stern, CNN and Good Morning America.
