Thank you so much for visiting my channel! The purpose of this personal channel is to share what some friends are talking about, doing, or singing, much of which is related to the Bahá'í Faith.

Bahá'í is part of the "Faith of God, eternal in the past, eternal in the future" which includes the Faith of Krishna, Buddha, Zoroaster, Moses, Jesus Christ, Mohammad, The Báb (The Gate), and Bahá'u'lláh (the Glory of God), the Founder of the Bahá'í Faith. When we listen to these all-knowing, divinely-guided Beings, Manifestations of God's attributes, we're listening to our unknowable Creator; They are Mouthpieces of God. In 1844, the dawnbreakers were the earliest believers in this most recent revelation of God's will to humanity.

Bahá'u'lláh was born in 1817. From early childhood he showed innate knowledge. As a young man, He was offered a position in the court of the King, but refused it in order to dedicate His life to service to the poor and oppressed. When He arose to promote the Cause of God, He was subjected to imprisonment, exile, and persecution by those who felt threatened by His Message of a new Revelation of God's guidance. He was put in chains in a dark and filthy underground dungeon. He was exiled from country to country, finally being sent to the prison city of Akka. Despite 40 years of persecution, the number of those attracted to His wisdom grew, even among former enemies. He constantly wrote His teachings and prayers, bringing God's love and spiritual energy into the world.

"There can be do doubt whatever that the peoples of the world, of whatever race or religion, derive their inspiration from one heavenly Source, and are the subjects of one God," wrote Bahá'u'lláh. "The difference between the ordinances under which they abide should be attributed to the varying requirements and exigencies of the age in which they were revealed. . . . Arise and, armed with the power of faith, shatter to pieces the gods of your vain imaginings, the sowers of dissension amongst you. Cleave unto that which draweth you together and uniteth you."
