I have found thermold mags to be very reliable in Bushmaster & blued min 14 as well. In fact, favorite even over magpul Pmags with the Bushy! You can rock on with thermold IMUO as I have for 12 years!

Great video showing how much fun this gun is and not expensive. Mine has had a few F to fire (ammo) but never failed me once with 750+ CCI's sent downrange!~ I love this rifle, so much fun to shoot especially with barrel rest the accuracy really is amazing for a 22LR!

Thanks man! Nice Bushmaster! I have put 5000+ rnds through my ES2 in 10 yrs & had no problems. Frankly I'm not into the gas piston retro-fit craze as I've had no problems with straight up gas impingement of AR 15 original design. Nice eotech copy BTW! Nice to see guys sharing what they have done!

I have run over 4000 rounds without one single problem whatsoever using 25 round mags., but mine has the 'blue spring" bolt and fairly new.

Thank you for a great comparison focused on the 2 extremely different designs & ease of cleaning issues, weight etc. Actually my 10/22 functionally, & the MP 15 applies here & crystal clear to me...I'll but an MP and have the best of both.
