What to say? I have played classical guitar since about 1972. I make no claims to Great Virtuosity, and think of myself as more of a "guitar history aficionado" than as a true performer. My preferences are toward intermediate-level repertoire which has not been played and recorded many times over.

I am a volunteer reviewer for the Guitar Foundation of America's "Soundboard" Magazine, and this role has introduced me to a great number of modern composers whose music I would otherwise never have known of. Quite a few of these people have had their music recorded (by themselves and by others) on YT. I can unhesitatingly recommend to you: Jean-Marie Raymond, Roque Carbajo, Claude Gagnon, Yves Carlin, Yvon Demillac, Maria Linnemann, Per-Olav Kindgren, Giorgio Signorile.

My recordings are very basic, done at home with an inexpensive Flip UltraHD camcorder (no longer made as of early 2011). There is never any additional editing of the camera mic's sound-file; I have no idea how to do it and not a huge lot of interest in learning. "What you hear is what got played", rather than a nicely processed and edited version.
