Earlier on Twitter, you compared the "Obama syncophants" to the KKK. Personally, I think that's disgusting. I fully agree that people should complain about & criticize the president. But to be a progressive, to me, means that you offer up a solution...work towards a goal, instead of fear mongering. When you attack & name call people on YOUR side that only want an honest conversation ("mealy mouthed" comes to mind), you alienate yourself & make for a completely destructive political environment....just like many conservatives. I think you should be ashamed by your rhetoric. You are kidding yourself if you think you're a "patriot" or doing anything constructive for this country. Progressives need facts, not fear tactics. You should really contemplate if you'd like to keep waving the progressive banner, because again...you, sir, are no progressive.

To me being a progressive means being pragmatic, open-minded, trying to solve the big issues instead of decrying anyone that disagrees. I see progressives as the good guys, especially on healthcare. You, sir, in my book at least, are no progressive.

Honestly, you don't seem to grasp the full concept of the situation in Pakistan & Afghanistan. We could debate this subject for weeks, but to call someone a war monger for not immediately condemning the president's position is naive & ludicrous. There are many dimensions to the current political situation, as one would think you would realize being a credentialed journalist.

I find it reprehensible that you make extreme statements & then condemn others for doing the same. You seem to see yourself on some holy pedestal of progressiveness. I respect your views, but I don't agree with the fact that you condemn anyone as not a true progressive or as an "Obama Synocphant" if they disagree with you.

these raucas town hall meeting as you called them have had no arrests or violence by the protesters.the only violence reported was by liberal union thugs.people shout their questions because they want to be heard by politicians who are trying to talk over them.i hope future liberal protests are this peaceful
