About this user
David Potter, master drummer, was the number one studio and band drummer at the height of the psychedelic rock era, late '60s. His unique tuning and creative power drumming catapulted him to the number one most sought after drummer in the world, laying down drum tracks for Janis Joplin, Leon Russell, Joe Cocker and numerous others. He was a touring band member and drummer for the Lee Michaels "Carnival of Life" album. Edie Hoe is NOT the drummer on the Lee Michaels "Carnival of Life" Album; David Potter IS the drummer on all of the album except for ONE song, "My Friends," the only song that Eddie Hoe played on the album.
If you look on the album there is an (*) next to Eddie Hoe's name, then there is an (*) next to the last song on the album titled, "My Friends." That is the ONLY song that Eddie played on. David's name was omitted from the credits because of his decision to leave the band. The other band members that played on the album with David Potter are: Guitar player Hamilton W. Watt (life long friend of David's and original band member along with David of "The Bushman" and "Euphoria"); organ player Gary Davis; and Bass player John Keski. Other bands David was a band member of and played drums on are: The East Side Kids, The Tiger and the Lamb, Endle St. Cloud, and Potter St. Cloud. For more information go to davidpottermusician.com
