Biography David Karlinger

The soundtrack of my life started with rock 'n' roll. My parents played songs of Elvis Presley, Glenn Miller & Co. all day long, that awakened and nourished my passion for rock rhythms. At the age of eight I finally replaced spoons and saucepan with sticks and a snaredrum -- and the tour began. Since then I've been learning and practicing, a few years back the harmonica joined the drums, some tune to the beat. Now I rock and roll on tours with my own bands and during performances with international musicians. For example with Rockabilly singer Roddy Jackson, who stated after the concert: "David was the only drummer to play Earl Palmer fills."
