David Dixon is a Vice President of SAP Research & Advisory with Business & Decision. He co-authored with the father of data warehousing, Bill Inmon, the book "Mastering the SAP Business Information Warehouse" and wrote Business Objects-sponsored white papers on SAP deployment options both prior to and after the SAP acquisition. He is also a recognized speaker at SAP, SAP Insider and ASUG conferences.
David started his career in 1995 as a Financials and Controlling (FI/CO) consultant with SAP specializing in all of the SAP reporting and analysis applications and tools as well as ABAP programming. Before leaving SAP to build what is now Business & Decision's SAP practice, he was an SAP Platinum Consultant. David has worked with SAP's development and product marketing teams on numerous occasions over a long history especially in the areas of business planning and financial consolidations. He also has extensive "hands-on" project experience specializing in implementations of complicated global solutions for Fortune 100 companies.
