Mr. Andrew affectionately referred to as "The Professor" by friends and colleagues, has over 15 years of experience working in the marketing and digital media field. During the early stages of Internet retailing, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to his first successful online venture with the creation of Casa de Cigars, gaining him a reputation as an early adopter of emerging technologies. In 2000, he started his own digital media-marketing agency, David Andrew & Co. As the company's president and owner, and recognizing a paradigm shift in how consumers assimilate brand messaging, he consults businesses on creating dynamic brand energy, improving brand recognition, and modernizing marketing strategies. Renown for his "can do, anything is possible" attitude, the David Andrew & Co. mantra is "Be The Difference!"
Mr. Andrew has been recognized in highly competitive marketing arenas like the automotive Industry, by such publications as Auto Dealer Monthly and Dealer Magazine, as well as vendors like DealerSkins for his innovative ideas in the areas of automotive dealership marketing, website design, and marketing strategies. He attributes his career accomplishments to his father, who emphasized high standards and a good work ethic, and his mother, who instilled the belief that he could accomplish any goal.
A graduate student at Northwood University's DeVos Graduate School of Management, Mr. Andrew is wrapping up a Master of Business Administration. He also holds a dual bachelor's degree from Northwood University, in Business and Marketing.
Mr. Andrew is a member of Dominion Enterprises' Dealer Council, the Association of Strategic Marketing and the eMarketing Association. Referred to by Northwood University Provost Dr. Bill Bateman as "a leader among leaders" he received the DeVos Leadership Scholarship from the DeVos Graduate School of Management, was a finalist by audition for the Grace Moore Scholarship at The University of Tennessee and is the recipient of a voice scholarship to the University of Tennessee. Upon completion of his masters in the fall of 2011, he intends to pursue his doctorate in marketing.
As an adamant proponent of civic responsibility, and in memory of his loving mother, Mr. Andrew supports multiple charities, including Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Warriors in Pink, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Livestrong. In the future, he looks forward to strategically positioning his company to assist for-profit organizations as well as non-profit organizations like ONE, The American National Red Cross, Livestrong, Tom's Shoes, One x One, Charity Water, Make it Right Nola, and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
In his leisure, Mr. Andrew enjoys reading, the study of neuroscience, classic car restoration, college football, music, and spending time with his family.
