About Me:

www.davemarks.com is down for maintenance at the minute and will be back online asap...

I'm a professional musician and music teacher living in London, UK. I play various instruments for a diverse range of artists, from rock and metal bands to a 50 piece contemporary choir and everything in between. I'm available for session work and am always interested in playing with, recording with and producing for new artists - if you need me, just get in touch on email.
I also teach at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London, as well as Thames Valley University and the University of Chichester. I also teach privately from my studio room in Stanley House, Acton, West London.

These lessons are totally free, no hidden charges or credit card numbers needed.
There are pdfs of these lessons available to download once you register on my website, also for free.

I'm posting a series of lessons here for bass players, covering techniques, scales and arpeggios and songs you'd like to learn. If I can make time I might do some lessons on other instruments too.

If you enjoy the videos and you have learned something valuable then go out and do something nice for someone else. Pass the good vibes on...

If you would like to, you can make a voluntary donation at my website. It's hard for me to find time for making new free videos and also pay the rent, so the more contributions I receive the more often I can post stuff... :-) I also have an Amazon wishlist that people send me gifts from now and again. Those are awesome.

I'll also be releasing a DVD soon to buy, but the free stuff will keep coming and will stay free.
I welcome comments and if you like what I do, please subscribe. It doesn't cost you anything and Mr YouTube is very nice to me if I have lots of subscriptions. :-)

I've also got lots of clips up from my adventures on tour with some different bands. Some musical.... some not.
