A small group of disabled veterans banded together to form the Disabled American Veterans Association. This organization was formed because of the problems veterans and disabled veterans had in seeking out contracting and subcontracting opportunities on military bases thoughout the country. Support The Troops must be more than a slogan on a billboard. Our country must put in action not words when it comes to supporting our disabled Soldiers,Airmen,Sailors,and Marines.
