About Me:
Three parts Belgian and one part Kiwi, Das Pop are Bent Van Looy (vocals), Niek Meul (bass), Reinhard Vanbergen (guitar) and Matt Eccles (drums). The band's spirited guitar-pop is hummable, danceable and utterly infectious.
Soulwax (aka 2 Many DJ's) took a break from touring and remixing the world's biggest acts to produce Das Pop's album, which was recorded in London's Konk and Toerag studios and will be released in 2009.
