Original Spoken Word Poetry
About Me:
First a big "Thank You" to everyone subscribing to my poetry postings. If you would like to send a message, please do. For now again "Thank You" and "Welcome" to all. I hope you enjoy what you find..
I am an accidental poet, discovering the art on a building site, one Essex early morning. The words "Green becomes Black. Trees now Tarmac." seemed so succinctly to sum up the scene that I wrote them down.
**** me, a poem.
Since then, I have filled books with pages of poetry, drawn on all the facets of my life. The selection on YouTube includes a playlist of Poetry for Children. The rest is a mix more or less suitable for everyone. Please also follow introductions to people featured in 'Favourites' and 'Subscriptions' for a growing selection of poetry and other inspired creativity.
In print since 1997, my poetry is also published in a variety of formats online. Text, audio, and video recordings are available. Collections of poems, with colourful image map designs, feature on the website www.dashpoetry.com

and it goes on...
The more you look, the more you learn.
The more you learn, the more you see.
The online gallery at http://www.jackiea.co.uk features a photographic view of a further range of artwork, including the background painting in most of these 'dashpoet' YouTube videos.
My website http://www.dashpoet.com is an attempt to bring art to the internet experience. Colours are now linked to collections of hundreds of the best websites and search engines, to create an original map of the internet. Widely recommended and personal favourite web destinations are featured in twelve images, each representing a region of the internet. A choice of map sizes and background colours is available.
With its origins in 1999, http://www.dashpoetry.com is a collaboration with the same artist, offering poetry collections linked by the art of unique image map designs. Now featuring spoken word mp3s to listen online or download to your desktop. The original www.poetry-planet.co.uk can also still be visited.
'Be Surprised At What You Find', in the 1997 book 'Rivers and Bridges', was my first published poem.
Final words to subscribers, all who add friendship:
"Cheers for Now!" and again "Thank you".
