DARUSO are a UK based electronic Dance, Trance and Pop band comprising of vocalist Jess Russo and producers Julian Gingell & Barry Stone (Jewels & Stone).
Riding high after the club success of their first single Closest Thing to Heaven the trio were signed to UK dance label 3 Beat (Ian Carey, Agnes, Inna, Edward Maya).
Their first single to be released on the 3 Beat label is "Since You Been Gone" which is available now from iTunes and features mixes by Buzz Junkies, Real Booty Babes, Rick M, Frisco and Jewels & Stone.
The video for the single was filmed in Sweden by award winning director Anders Rune (Agnes-Release Me video).
Jess Russo is of Italian descent and was brought up within a very musical family.
Singing since the age of four and trained in various styles of music, such as Pop, Jazz, Blues and Classical, Jess has also had both dance and drama training and has been songwriting since she was a teenager.
Jewels & Stone have written and produced records for many UK pop artists, most recently working on records by The Saturdays, Girls Aloud, Dannii Minogue and Sophie Ellis Bextor.Their most internationally-recognized achievement is composing the theme to the hit TV show American idol.
DARUSO are in the process of recording their debut album, a collection of wonderfully infectious songs guaranteed to satisfy both dance and pop fans alike.
