Just logical ! Taking one side or the other as a foreigner will just deepen the ditches of the atlantic. And i would be upset if a German candidate would make this kind of speach in FRANCE during a German election campaign. And then a countrymen of mine with huguenot routs will claim " See, the french want him, lets vote for him ". I agree with Obama that the relations between europe and America must be refreshed but i believe that McCain will see this equal. The rest is an american issue and not of my concern.
