The music was a major factor in the creepiness of The Outer Limits. As a 12 year old I was crushed when Outer Limits was cancelled after a mere 1 1/2 years. Absolutely could not understand it. What could they possibly have been thinking?

It's also got a haunting urgency that leaves me breathless and with the certain knowledge that I would fall easy prey to this siren. You could protect yourself some by having nothing of value.... but there's more to lose here than a set of spurs. Weird, erotic song.
