My daughter's name is Brecklyn. Everyone thinks its so unusual. Always asked if I made it up. I looked it up and it is Irish meaning "freckled". I almost named her Brooklyn, but I named her Brecklyn because I liked the masculine version "Breckin", not knowing she was going to be a girl.
