@SLRDRIVER95 shoot multiple guns, dont limit to specific types, pick the one you shoot best. that is the only good advice youll ever get, youll have biased people telling you to carry what they do. ignore them and figure out what fits you and shoots best for you and you have the better gun.

in home defense situation you didnt mention easier follow up shots w/ the carbine, less felt recoil means quicker shots
