Dark Himaya started in April 2009, with two ladies; Aileen Alonzo on vocals/keyboard and Ivy Fernie on vocals/acoustic guitar. With their cryptic lyrics, they aim at exploring all the possible ways to express their own visions through sound that somehow you could relate. An eclectic band whose arrangements are made for either two or four piece. Dark Himaya later on expanded into a full band; with Alejandro Dini on bass and Keith Woodfin on drums, but never forgetting the minimalistic origin of the songs.
