NBA 2K2: This Game Was The First Game For The Xbox And It Had All Things That The Previous Versions Had With Improved Graphics, Animations And Play Calling, More Than 200 Animations, Player Intros, Many Game Modes Featuring Franchise And Street Mode, A True Sim.
: This Game Was The First To Utilize The Full Potential Of The Xbox And Put It Into An NBA Game, Great Graphics (For Its Time) 720p HD, Improved Dribble Moves Including Double Crossover, Dunks, Layups, Save The Ball Animations, Great Franchise Mode W/ Ability To Hire Coach's & Draft Scouting, Game Sliders And More, Overall Great Improvement With ESPN As Well, Great Game.
ESPN NBA Basketball (NBA 2K4) : Now With This Game There Were Many New Additions, The Major Ones Are, IsoMotion, 24/7 Mode, Soundtracks+Custom Soundtracks, Cloth Movement And Improved Graphics. This Game Was Highly Criticized For Three Things, One It Only Had 4 Offensive Plays,Two The Post Game Was Very Limited, Turnarounds Mostly, But I Found A Way To Shoot Jumphooks But That Was Rare & Three Charges Were Extremely Frequent But This Could Be Turned Down With The NBA Rules Option, All Around These
Additions Were Very Welcome And Made This Game A Flashy Game While Creating A Really Fun Experience Also The ESPN Presentation Style Was Nice.
ESPN NBA 2K5: This Game Had Improved Upon The Features In 2K4 And Made Them Better In This Game, Improved Post Game, Hopstep, More Plays, Camera Angles, IsoMotion2, 24/7 Mode Improvements, The Addition Of Association Mode W/ Team Chemistry, Full Authority Mode, Player Personality & Training Of Players, The Downside To This Game Was That There Were AI Problems, Lack Of 3's With Shooters, The Infamous Shaq Test, And Some Popping Of Animations, All & All This Game Had It All And Was Filled With Content To Keep You Playing Till Next Year, Plus ESPN Presentation Was Very Impressive, Good Game.
NBA 2K6: This Is When Big Changes Were Made, First EA Had Taken The ESPN License Away From 2K Which Vastly Took Away From NBA 2K6's Presentation, With That Being Said 2K Didn't Take The Easy Way Out, They Came Back With Arguably One Of The Greatest NBA Games Ever, NBA 2K6 Now Made IsoMotion Executed By Holding Down Left & Right Triggers And Moving The Left Thumbstick, There Were Many New Moves That Were Smooth & Effective, And You Could Chain Multiple Moves Together To Shake Your Defender, The Shot Stick Was Great Because Whatever Direction You Pointed Your Stick For A Layup The Player Would Layup To That Side, Dunks Were Also Performed With The Shot Stick, Up Is Basic, Left Is Flashy, Right Is Power, And Down Is Reverse. 24/7 Was The Best This Year With Addition Of Celebs Shoes ETC. The Crib Was Added As Well That Was Featured In NFL 2K4 & 2K5, VIP's, Stepbacks, Improved Association Mode With Ability To Change Players Numbers, Player Training GM's Its Very Intuitive And Very Fun To Do Execute Trades And Watch Players Develop, Draft Picks ETC. Very Good Game.
NBA 2K7: After 2K6 For The Xbox The Focus Was Really Shifted To Next Gen Games But This Game Did Certainly Impress, With Refined IsoMotion, Shot Stick Back, The Crib, My NBA, And Everything Else That Was Featured In NBA 2K6 Was Back, They Also Did Assign Signature Shots To These Players: Allen Iverson, Chris Webber, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, LeBron James, Elton Brand, Josh Childress, Gary Payton, Shaquille O'Neal, Dwayne Wade, Antoine Walker, Peja Stojakavic, Dirk Nowitzki, Vince Carter, Carmelo Anthony, Tayshaun Prince, Tracy McGrady, Tim Duncan, Shawn Marion And Kevin Garnett, Sig Shots Was A Nice Addition, Dunks Were Still Nice With A Couple Additions, This Overall Was A Great Game And Finish To The NBA 2K Series On Xbox.
