basically I first heard this song when it was used in season six of Smallville during the Thanksgiving scene:

which seriously hurts my heart to watch ;____;
and I fell in love with the song and it reminded me of Clark and Lex, but I didn't do anything with the idea because I wasn't motivated for it.
then a while ago a Damon/Stefan video came out with this same song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzPj1Z.... and then Ashley, bless her beautiful heart, told me on Twitter that I should vid this song to Clark and Lex. I told her I would eventually when I had time.
and then her birthday was coming up. so I was like, "oh my god I must do something for her." and I kind of immediately started on this. :3
Ashley, I know your birthday was over a month ago and I'm really sorry it took me so long to make this. but I was having trouble picking out scenes to use and you're usually my go-to girl when I struggle with that. but I couldn't ask you for help this time for obvious reasons. XDD I hope it's still okay! I did my best on it and I really don't like how it turned out, but I know you're going to yell at me for saying that so I'll just stop right there. lol xD

fjkgdfhdgd. seriously I don't even know where to start. you are way too nice and encouraging for your own good. you are without a doubt one of the most wonderful vidders I've met on YouTube so far. you always leave me the best, most epic, video comments. every time I see your username pop up I just start grinning because I know you left me some giant comment full of praise which I never feel worthy of deserving. you are too awesome.
and when I was having a real crappy few weeks a while ago you wrote that gorgeous paragraph on Twitter saying all these nice things about me. and I swear that whole thing is one of the reasons I started feeling better so quickly. you made me smile when I felt like killing myself and that just means a lot.
and like I said, you are always so encouraging and helpful. whenever I need scene ideas for song lyrics you don't even hesitate to help me. you just do it and if it weren't for you, half of my videos wouldn't even be done. they'd still be sitting in my "in progress" folder collecting dust and I would be a pile of poop on the floor because I wouldn't have the inspiration to finish them. lol.
you always make me smile and I freaking love talking to you about Lex's penis and analyzing all the little Clark and Lex moments together. and whining with you about our feelings on certain characters and pairings. and squealing over Chlavis and Chlex and just being perverted idiots together. and I love that you've started watching Supernatural. I seriously just love it. and I love that we have all the same opinions when it comes to Sam and Lex and Clark and pretty much every other character in existence.
