I have some 3mm cross grain ply.. how do you "soft" it?¿? cause I think mine has pine on...

this thing really has a citroen 2cv engine?¿?... my question is, is it the boxer 625 cc petrol engine? I ask cause I`m from Argentina and the only 2cv that came here was 400 and so cc 12 hp. we called the otrer engine 3cv.. great look! real vintage!
