Is there much difference in power between the two bikes?

I have just bought a lifan bore kit for my bike, it is now making this sound. Fiddled adjusting the tappets for ages and chain tensioner sounds like it is coming fron the head. Still no joy, did you find the cause because it is starting to drive me mad?
