Canadian born, and winner of Canada's 2007 Shai awards for "Worship Album of the Year" and "Male Soloist of the Year", in Spring 2009 Dan released "The Listening EP" produced by Nathan Nockels. (Chris Tomlin, Passion, Matt Redman, Tim Hughes) Hanging out somewhere between the sounds of Michael W Smith and Jason Upton; Dan balances an engaging, infectious style with the leading of a pastor's heart; effectively straddling accessible pop and passionate abandon.

"The Listening EP" saw 2 of it's 3 tracks land at #1 on the Canadian AC CANCON radio chart and continue for long runs as 2 of the most played songs on Canadian Christian radio in 2009. Two of the 3 EP tracks were also nominated in "Song of The Year" categoroes in Canada's 2009 GMA Covenant Awards (Canada's Dove Awards) "Listening" for "Pop Contemporary Song of the Year" and "Amazing" for "Worship Song of The Year". "Amazing" was also voted into the top 5 worship songs in Chris Tomlin's "Frequency" Worship Resource website contest.

Having shared the stage with the likes of Mandisa, The Katinas, Avalon, Starfield, Kevin Max, Paul Coleman, Darrell Evans and Brian Doerksen, Dan is no stranger to the road. But with a heart for the local church, and as a worship pastor at his home church in Greenwich CT, USA, Dan endeavors to keep his ministry grounded and relevant; focused on serving pastors and worshippers. Written with the church in mind, several of Dan's original songs, already sung widely, have been re-recorded by other artists who have recognized the rare pairing of congregation-friendly accessibility and uncommon depth.
