The issues will be linked together in the danimations documentary film 'Cuttlefish Country' to be released in 2011. To support this cause and learn more, please visit our website: http://cuttlefishcountry.com
Our Artworks
This collection of video art works by Dan Monceaux and Emma Sterling ranges from abstract and animated through to site specific installed works, including Rundle Lantern light displays. Dan Monceaux made his first video art work in 2004 for the Downtown Artspace Gallery exhibition 'Finders Keepers'. The piece was an audio-visual remix of footage from the Australian arthouse film classic 'Picnic at Hanging Rock' to which he composed and recorded a new score. That piece later spawned the audio-visual performance and production project Supermarket. http://supermarketbeats.com Together as Supermarket, Monceaux and Sterling have developed and toured work internationally from their home in Adelaide, South Australia. Supermarket has performed in nightclubs, lounges, independent cinemas, galleries and even a shopping mall in Canada! If you would like to screen or exhibit any of our works, or book a Supermarket performance, please enquire at http://danimations.com.au
