Daniel Kim is 20 and is currently a student at the University of Sydney. He began learning the piano at the age of 12 and last year gained his AmusA for piano performance. He is the recipient of numerous prizes including the Jelks Scholarship for Musical Performance, the Roger Woodward Award and the Theme & Variations Scholarship. Daniel has been invited to perform for the Joan Sutherland Society, radio station 2MBS-FM, Annual Concert of the United Music Teachers of NSW, ENCORE at the Sydney Opera House, Ryde Eastwood Music Club and was NSW State Finalist in the 8th Yamaha Youth Piano Competition. He was also ranked 4th in New South Wales in HSC Music Extension and has won numerous prizes in piano eisteddfods and competitions throughout Sydney.

Music has always been a huge influence in my life. I play the piano for enjoyment and to entertain others.
