Name: Daniel
Age: 61
I usually teach sixth grade and fit right in, so I believe I have the brain of an 11 or 12 year old. About a year ago, I had a heart transplant, which I gave a birthday of December 21 (so I could remember it--the winter solstace), and thus I have the heart of a 19 year old.

I'm addicted to rollerblading and skiing, I read Discover Magazine cover to cover, I can't seem to stop writing comments at OpEd News--my ideas tend to make the political "far left" look moderate--so I view myself as progressive.

I'd like to see four things happen in the world, asap: 1) replace violence with kindness; 2) put kids first; 3) respect Nature; 4) cut back the world population to about two billion, voluntarily.
City: Sugarhouse, Utah
Hometown: Syosset, N.Y.

Occupation: student, teacher, inventor, writ...
Schools: I agree with Mark Twain: Don't ...
Interests and Hobbies: In addition to the above, I think too much, read too much, and spend too much time on the internet. But while I'm on the subject, I recommend www.commondreams.org and NASA's astronomy picture of the day (and caption), to keep a proper perspective on things.
Movies and Shows: Kiki's Delivery Service comes to mind. Nature shows and natural history of all kinds. David Attenborough blows me away--I've learned more biology from him than in four years of college biology. The PBS series on Evolution is a must for any homo sapien.
Music: I seem to be a fool for female vocalists. I love Dido and LeAnn Womack, along with countless others. But here in SLC we have about 30 radio stations and I listen to probably half of them while rollerblading. I usually stop spinning the dial when I hear Rock and Roll or Reggae. Country Western, minus the whiney twangy crybaby cowboy crap.
Books: I guess if I had to recommend one, it would be The Sky's the Limit, by Wayne Dyer, though some of his later work is too far gone. John McPhee's Deltoid Pumpkin Seed altered my life forever. More on this over the next year or so, but if you like the airship stuff, this is how it started.

Brilliant videos of the airship! Did you come up with the concept yourself, or did you get it from somewhere?
I have some ideas of my own related to scaling the concept up cheaply for power generation.

Dan- how 'bout flying subs like the nautilus? I will gladly work with you, I could sell tons of these. My brother is a bigwig at revell, and I have the ear of spinmasters, so if you want to take this worldwide, call mitch! mvalentine68@yahoo 847-445-7555 ps- it seems whenever I mention a certain tech, or the inventor, I get blocked! I'll tell ya on the horn.
