After SO MANY years in the music industry, it's great to believe that the best is yet to come! The singing/songwriting and teaching seems to move along better when I take my foot off the brake and let God do the steering. Goin' for it!

An uncorked effervescence and a singing style that intoxicates is a fabulous way to describe Danette. From sensitive ballads to saucy blues her heart is sold out to the music and makes it real for the listener. This tall Songbird moves on stage with such ease, you feel like youre in her living room. Singing is as natural for Danette as breathing.

Danettes professionalism and poise is unmatched.

Early on, Danettes formative years on stage and in musical theatre were a springboard for moving into the Houston music scene. This experience and exposure fueled the fire to venture out to Las Vegas. She landed a tasty gig in the popular Blue Room at The Tropicana Hotel. Danette worked with The Monk Montgomery Trio and alternated sets with the legendary jazz/blues vocalist Joe Williams. Danette also toured with the Vegas show group, Sidros Armada. She performed and recorded with The Buddy Brock Orchestra and re-entered the local pop scene.

Danette was most recently featured in an interview for the KTSU Houston Ladies of Jazz Concert Series and her song His Smile was aired.

Danettes diverse life and professional experiences have opened the door for expression in the beautiful harmonies and lyrics of her songs.
