If this was manga Gutts from Berserk would easily be number 1 by a mile. The manga is so much more brutal. Also, no Shigurui? That anime (and the manga even more so) is F*CKED UP. Super brutality and gore and violence for the win. Makes Elfen Lied look like a Kindergarten's guide to anatomy.
