About this user
PARADISIAC BIO Art rock trio, Paradisiac(Lansing,Mi.), has been together about three years.
In this amount of time, they've managed to summon an impressive roster of
original, well played tunes, and a big enough following to carry them as far,
and beyond.
In the spring of '06, Dan Veal 32 (guitars/lead vocals), Mike Roy 28 (bass),
and Dale Foster 31 (drums/backing vocals), jammed together for the first
time in the basement of a friends house. The band started as an off-shoot of
the band, Damitol, of which Veal and Roy were a part of. After the band had
parted ways, Veal and Roy continued to work together long enough to fall
back to a recently aquired aquaintance, Foster, who had tracked and
mixed Damitol's first demo. Foster gelled with the band instantly, and new
songs began to flow with ease from the newly formed writing team.
In the spring of '09, Paradisiac released there debut EP, "The Plague".
It didn't take long to sell out of there first run of the low budget album.
Reviewed by fans as a combination of "Pixies meets Nirvana with a Queens of
the Stone Age edge", and labling there music, art rock, or weird rock.
Shortly after releasing The Plague, They produced there first music video,
another low budget project to promote there song, "Heroine". The band continues
to make head way dispite there home towns struggling music scene.
With a larger budget this time around, Paradisiac is back in the studio
working on there full lenth feature album, due sometime in the early spring
of '10, as well as another music video to give there EP another push before
there next release. While the band works on all that is on there plate, they
continue to book shows and will soon enough, announce a tour schedule to
promote there upcomming release.
