Dewey Galaxy has been exposed to the sounds of House music since the early 90's.
Raised in New York City, he began his career in music a the early age of 15. He joined basement-band Villaire which showcased and got a recording deal with EMI-Capital Records by the time he was 21.
"I see the predicament that the music scene in NYC has seen and endured, but I see a revitalization and a new understanding of what House is all about taking form in the new generation of clubbers", says Galaxy.
"I'm a firm believer in that you can musically educate a crowd by simply taking them on a journey. They know when they're being duped and they know when they are having an experience that keeps them coming back for more and more."
Dewey Galaxy has remixed "The Boss" by Diana Ross & "I'm Every Woman" by Chaka Khan.
He is currently working on a dance compilation CD of original tracks and remixes, featuring the power-house vocals of (to be announced). Look out for them soon on iTunes.
