I am a disillusioned and, at times, cynical human being who despises organized religion and religious fanatics. Religion was created by men to control other people and keep them ignorant. Many of the so-called sacred texts did not come from "God" at all. Men have killed each other, started wars, stoned women to death and burned women at the stake because of their religion or because of their twisted notions about "God." There is nothing "holy" about killing or hurting others.
I will choose any ethical aetheist over any fanatical Christian, Jew, or Muslim any day. Religion and government should always be separate.
I am also quite disgusted with corrupt politicians, bad government, and corporations. The greedy and the power-hungry are screwing over everyone. They must be held accountable for their crimes.
We live in the 21st Century. It should be a time of advanced knowledge, technology, space travel, peace, unity, equality, abundance, etc. Instead, most of the world is still living in the middle ages holding on to false notions of "God." Rape, genocide, wars, famine, inequality, sexism, racism, homophobia, ignorance --- these are things that exist in the 21st Century.
Until men start WWIII, a meteor or comet strikes, or Gaia shakes everyone off, I am stuck on this hellish planet. I hope this is my last incarnation here.
When I am not being serious, I spend my free time watching Guiding Light (Otalia), Lost, Bones, Dollhouse, and other shows online. I miss Pushing Daisies and Eli Stone. Damn networks are always canceling my favorite shows!
