i want to see the score for this, it bears some striking similarities to dysphoria.
I really like this kind of music, i just feel like sometimes it needs a melody, which is why i think periphery is doing such a good job, their singer comes up with some pretty good melodies.

i agree, but on that note, how many of these bads have vocals aside from periphery?
Periphery does a great job encompassing vocals i think some of these bands could do wonders, not to mention expand their fan base a bit, with a good vocalist

gipsyflyer, you make a good point, but just cuz you like thrash doesnt mean you like the big 4, for instance, i love thrash and dont really like slayer or anthrax. Just cuz you like death metal doesnt mean you like the band Death, THE FIRST deathmetal/melodeth band ever.

I happen to be pretty impressed with spencer, his low growls could be better and his diction while singing but he's really not bad.
And the lyrics that periphery as a whole, although i know a lot was written by casey and chris, are really fuckin good.
