Im Daisy, I Love My Horse Rathsallagh Champ (Champyy) I basically live for riding. Chaamps Story!

I adore my Pony Championn. He has given so much to me taught me to enjoy riding again after my bad experiences. Both of us are improving Daily. We bought him from a Dealer from Ireland, baught him home and tbh, he was sick of life he had been hunted with the Tipperary hunt for 4 seasons which obviously did some damage to him, he is very nervous jumping he will jump the jumps but he is All over the place and panics basically. so for now we are working on his Dressage (which was awfull) he is flyinng. The three tests i have done on him we have been places 7th, 3rd and 2nd! My instuctor thinks he could go up to elementary (but no higher because he is too small). We will start re-schooling him of the jumps soon! so wish us luck!
Champ has recently been diagnosed with osteoarthisritis in 2 neck vertibrae
:( He has has 4 injections into his neck, and had to have 6 weeks off. Its been 8 weeks so far. It had to be extended because of lots of reasons. Looks like i wont be getting on till feb. All the hard work undone. All muscle lost. But none of that matters as long as he isn't in pain anymore. We spotted it when we noticed him scratching his belly, and getiing stuck he had to force his own head back round. Never Rolled. Bucked alot. All down to pain :( What they did to him in his past i will never no.
