Covers are that artist/band's take on the song. They may or may not be anything like that original, but that's not always a bad thing.

@Acceptable76 Satan doesn't exist. There's nothing wrong with how metal vocalists sing, sure, pop artists may sing in a manner which is easier to understand, but if you've got an ear for this, you can understand it just as well, if not better.

@justdontcare1993 The old In Flames was themed around fantasy from what i've heard, newer songs are aimed at the "emo" people in society. It truely does depend on what sort of person you are, I just find fantasy had nothing to do with me.

@Quathell I'd have to disagree with you there..This is one of many very good examples of Melodeath, but I prefer Disarmonia's Isolation game (the song) to pretty much everything else in the genre, perhaps on par with Misery's Crown, Delirium of the Fallen and half of Nightrage's discography.
