Thank you for posting this. Silent Songs is one of my favourite recordings and a highlight of the ECM canon. The poetry, purity and intensity of sound are something to behold

This is fine on its own terms but I can't think why I would want to listen to it again in preference to the original. Thurston Moore's falters in some places (namely the lower register) but does a suprisingly good job elsewhere

@CK2890 I agree there is a similarity although, much as I like Joy Division, in my opinion this towers over "I Remember Nothing". As for the story, it's one to which the Heads have religiously stuck.
