The visualization of musical sounds...

One day I noticed that the treble and bass clef are like waves that roll through a series of seven smaller waves called semi-tones... through the ascending musical 'fifths' FCGDAEB into the sharps (and downwards [bass clef] into the 'fourths' and flats) BEADGCF...twelve times until... ...the pattern of the OVERTONES or PARTIALS or HARMONICS is revealed.

When you look at the treble and bass clef, you are in a way looking at part of the fractal geometry of the 'partials' or 'harmonics' that is overlaid or mapped on to the staves. The clefs can be created using the Pythagorean triangle and the equiangular spiral. The equiangular or logarithmic spiral is of course key to the dynamics of growth and form in nature.
