This channel is more or less dedicated to the White Star ships 'Olympic', 'Titanic' & 'Britannic' especially 'Titanic' not least because of the sheer volume of mystery that shrouds that ship to this very day. In 1997 Hollywood film mogul James Cameron created what is believed to be the ultimate Titanic movie, it isn't, it is historically inaccurate & the amount of artistic license used especially during the sinking & the break up of the ship is ridiculous, the movie also created a whole new generation of 'experts' who now look up to the movie for their 'facts' believe me this movie is the last place you would look for Titanic facts, there are literally hundreds of books written BEFORE this abomination of a film was ever created, there also seems to be this theory abound that Titanic's break up wasn't known about until her broken hull was discovered in 1985 by Robert Ballard and his team from the Wood's Hole Oceanographic Institute, this is also a complete myth, her break up was not only witnessed by survivors in lifeboats but it is also well documented in reports following her sinking in 1912, everyone has an opinion as to who was responsible for her sinking but in the High court of Justice in London & the Senate of the United States could find no one person accountable for the loss of the ship. Titanic's demise was the result of a chain of catastrophic events that ultimately led to the death of 1507 souls on the night of April 15, 1912. In loving memory of all who perished on the Royal Mail Steamer Titanic.

Bit of a history geek, anything really that happened in the past hence the Titanic connection not withstanding the fact that I live very close to where she was built, here in Northern Ireland we took our Titanic heritage for granted for too long, whilst every Nation placed some claim to the ship we seemed to turn away, that attitude has changed and we are taking back what is rightfully ours.
