I started playing basketball at age 12 because I got tired of people asking me how my team was doing, when I didn't even play. I played all three years in middle school, making varsity as a 7th grader, and then progressed through the ranks of AAU, and on to high school. I made the varsity squad at Hunterdon Central Regional High School my sophomore year, and helped my team win two county and two conference championships in the three years I played varsity. I also spend my summers working for two weeks at a camp run by the local recreatoin league to help girls better their play.
I started playing softball at age 8 and never looked back. I played 6 years of recreation softball, 5 years of all-star softball, and I played all three years in middle school and all four years of high school making varsity my junior year. While playing for the high school team I helped to bring the team to two county championships, two conference championships, and one sectional championship. Our school set a record my junior year with a 27-0 start before losing our first game in the state quarter finals. That year we were ranked #1 in the state for most of the year, and and at one point were ranked #25 in the country.
