Green Lantern Movie Trailer from http://www.mikeafford.com - A brand new version of the Green Lantern trailer -
3D modelling in Cinema 4D, some artworking in Photoshop, post production in After Effects CS3, grading with Magic Bullet 'Looks' which I do rate very highly.
Movie uploaded as 320x240 FLV (25fps, 350kbps, audio 192kbps stereo - but it still gets re-compressed right - is there any way of avoiding this I wonder??)
By the way - yes, John is black, Hal is white, Kyle is a bit Mexican, and Guy Gardner is kind of ginger looking. I don't know which might appear in a real movie if it ever happens. Hopefully all of them, and also Sinestro (magenta) and the Guardians (pale blue).
Anyway i do hope everyone likes my trailer.
Comments welcome - even stuff like 'hey ur vid sux'. Although don't expect a prize for just saying 'Fake'. Of course it's a fake. Anyone who's seen Transformers, Daredevil or Smallville should be able to spot that without too much trouble.
And also, the music is Lux Aeterna / Requiem for a Dream, and yes it IS used a lot :)
Well done to those who noticed that 'this summer' doesn't quite tally with 'coming soon' - especially at Christmas! It sort of made sense when I made it :)
