The idea of diabetes is terrifying to me, it runs down the male line in my family. my paternal grandfather died of complications and my father has type 2. To get custody of his kids my father was court ordered not to work... its so dificult to watch, he did well when he was first diagnosed and lost a lot of weight, it was through him i learnt about stevia. but then stress and arthritus like pain caught up with him making it not only impossible for him to work but for him to excersise. being unable to work he has no money to cover the cost of the food and medication he needs, he now has no controll over his diabetes and doesnt have a routine enough to test. sometimes I look at him and wonder if this is my enevitable future?
