About this user

I started playing guitar when I was about 15, just jamming Sabbath and Metallica songs in a band with some school friends. That lasted a year or so, after which I played less and less. Eventually I stopped playing altogether and I probably didn't even touch a guitar for over ten years. Then I discovered the countless army of bedroom guitarists sharing their love of music and the instrument via the wonders of YouTube and thought, "I'd like to have a go at that!" So here we are, this channel is the result.

I hope you enjoy my videos as much as I enjoy making them. Comments and ratings are always appreciated, so please feel free to let me know what you think! Bear in mind that, even though I've flagged the channel as "Musician", that's not how I think of myself! I taught myself to play and it shows! I'm just some guy who loves playing along to his favourite bands, that's all :)

The gear I use includes a Marshall MG15DFX amp, a cheap ass Encore "Guitarist" beginners guitar (the black one), a Fender Squire P-Bass (err, the bass guitar!) and a B.C. Rich Warlock, (my first ever guitar! It must have been ten years old when I got it all those years ago and it's still going strong!) I've also recently got my grubby paws on a sweet Jackson Randy Rhoads!
