Colin Zhang is a student of the Western Academy of Beijing who specializes in IT and video/photo production. Colin takes part in the Formula 1 in Schools(TM) Technology Challenge and recently represented WAB and China in Team Aero in the 2009 World Championships in London. In addition, he is an aviation enthusiast also flying and controlling on VATSIM.

About the ZODO Group:

The ZODO Group is a video production team based in Beijing, China. ZODO makes quality short films and volunteers on many video projects. ZODO started in 2003 as ZD Solutions, making their first films ZD Solutions (a trial advertisement spoof) and The Digestive Procedure, an educational film giving a brief overview of the human digestive system. The second film, Embarrassing Moments made in 2004, was a large suggess and even won the General Entertainment category at the Beijing Schools Film Festival in 2007. Many more films have been produced since then, including Food For Life and Pressure. In 2007, The ZODO Group also began volunteering its video skills. ZODO has worked for organsations such as USA Taekwondo (the US Olympic taekwondo team) and the Special Olympics. Beginning in 2008, the ZODO Group has expanded into short documentary video - starting with a series of two informative shorts going over the basics of Pollution in China. In addition, extra side projects such as the spoof movie trailer of John Marsdens novel Tomorrow, When the War Began are run. As students of the Western Academy of Beijing, China, members of ZODO actively work with WAB to co-ordinate and produce short video productions.
