I took a chance and just bought a fake blade bumper which looks exactly like this. I still get 5 bars full signal and 3 bars wi-fi strength. There is no drop in signal whatsoever. Maybe you are unlucky you got a lemon.

Frankly, the Dominic guy is ok but if you really know music, you will spot the female vocalist went off key a few times. Especially 1.30-1.33. Flat spots and no power/volume in the vocals. Very "lembut" . Not the best redition but good try and keep improving guys.
