transitioned to 4 inches

myHAIR goal is to bring out the full potential of my curl pattern and try to figure out the best shape/length in its natural state for my face.

i learned in my 3rd month that besides finding the right conditioner and cleansing products, DAILY cowashing (using only conditioner in the shower), fingercombing/pulling (aka no tools) and air drying was key to my growth success and easing frustration!

...daily water maintains hydration
...shower fingercombing/ pulling removes shed hair efficiently
prevent knots and tangles without causing frizz or unnecessary breakage
...air drying sets the coils without destroying my curl pattern
...monthly clarifying with baking soda and water revives my curl pattern and improves sheen

shower detangling with combs is the DEVIL! this pulls myHAIR out and DESTROYS my coils to a ball of frizz. i ONLY tool detangle out of shower with wet hair using gel, myTwistout Lotion concoction or Cantu leave-n bc these are the only products that give myHAIR SLIP making detangling easy as pie :)


[1.1.2010] as myHAIR has grown out the coils seem to be separating more and drooping :)
