@halo3guyy Laserdisc was a huge success in Japan. It was a niche high-end format in the West. It pioneered most of the features subsequently found on DVDs. It was far from a failure.

Level one is this huge let-down after all that high quality FMV. Level 3 is the payoff, clearly the heart of the game. I imagine thay added the other levels as padding since they only had space for about 20 minutes of gameplay for level 3.
