@ CyclingMikey: The Dinotte is on there now. Eneloops are charging as I type. I use 2 battery holders and carry an additional 4 AA Eneloops in case I use up the first 8. The right-side Cateye HL-EL135 is now pointed to the right enough so cross traffic approaching me at intersections can see it better, kind of like the angled front warning lights on some law enforcement vehicles.

@ Olgalevin84 Thank you. :) Right now I'm running two Cateye HL-EL135s. I should put my extra Dinotte 200L on there too. It's much brighter than the Cateyes.

Great video's! However as a fellow cyclist myself I always recommend getting a good pair of headlights if your' going to be riding in the dark. I have Stella 400's and aren't cheap ($300.00) but if you can save up that kind of money they are WORTH buying if your a serious cyclist. And another benefit of those is that they are water proof. Keep up the fabulous work!

Great video, thanks for sharing it. From what you've stated, that's allot of weight loss in a short period of time. I'd take it easy and enjoy the summer without focusing on the actual bathroom scale for the moment. You'll see those twenty-something pounds peel off you without realising. Most important thing is getting back into the routine where you're riding regularly "for enjoyment." In this respect you'll continue to ride. You're breathing is good and seem in excellent shape. Chapeau!

I've been enjoying your videos. Here's another short but steep one you need to try next time you're in Auburn. It's a guaranteed pain cave but only for a short few minutes! Come up Indian Hill, turn left on Auburn Folsom then turn right at the 1st light (Maidu). Take Maidu up to the 2nd stop sign and turn right on Falcons Point then an immediate left on Snowy Owl. Turn right on Eagles Nest. This is your road! Follow Eagles nest all the way down until it ends at a cul-de-sac, take a drink, then climb back out. Fun little climb that has a serious 24% section! You will love it. The climbing is only for about a third of a mile.
