  @texanaroyaldun Most of the time I put slits in the leg where it needs to bend and heat it with a heat gun. Boiling would take such a long time and it is much quicker with a heat gun.

  @dmenkhau I initially paint most of the models in acrylic paint applied with an airbrush. I then detail them in soft pastels. The pastels really make the coat look soft and velvetty....

  @unicornlover247 They are made of resin or plastic. I customize many of them by either repositioning them or resculpting the manes and tails. There are several really good artists that sell resins unpainted for artists like me to do what they want with them as far as painting and customizing
