User reviews by a regular user, not biased paid reviews that worry about advertising dollars. I don't get free product to review, so I don't have to tell you that I like something when I don't either. Its pretty simple. I buy stuff.. I review it.. and If I don't like it, I sell it. Or sometimes I just sell it to make some room for new knives too.
I own or owned most of the knives I review. I do not borrow them from stores, nor do I own a store. I do buy and sell my personal knives as well as trade them on a regular basis. My experience with knives is based on collecting them for around 13 years. I do not have any Military background. I do have several years of martial arts training, but for the purposes of my reviews it is irrelevent. I collect knives and review their build quality as well as fit and finish. I do not really spent 5 minutes analyzing the jimping on the spine of a blade, because that's not what I'm concerned about. I like my knives to look amazing, and have excellent craftmanship and appealing and ergonomic design.
