I am still trying to find out:
With a DX lens it becomes 15MP and in FX you can shoot in similar resolution, THEN WHAT WILL BE THE FRAME RATE.
The reason I ask is this, got the D700 and going over to D800 I can also shoot 4608 x 3056 which is 14MP.
The D700 is 4256 x 2832 or 12MP.

Does reducing resolution increase frame rate. For example, with a DX lens?
I have an Nikkor 80-200 2.8 and would give me 120-300 2.8 in DX mode for sports photography.
What frame rate then? The resolution should be about 15MP.
